Free Program American Eagle Employee Handbook
The free flights are part of the carrier's new non-revenue flying program for employees. Fort Worth-based American merged with US Airways last month and together employ about 100,000 people. The new program also will give employees' registered family members and parents unlimited travel privileges and they won't have to use buddy passes. Pre-merger American employees will no longer have to wait until age 55 for retiree travel if they meet the qualifications.
Starting this summer, the airline also will use American's boarding system for employees based on a flight's check-in time. 'While implementation will take some time, when complete, American Airlines will offer free coach travel across the largest and best network in the industry, improved pass privileges for family and friends, and a consistent boarding system,' Elise Eberwein, American's executive vice president of people and communications, wrote in the newsletter. 'With more than 6,700 daily flights to over 330 destinations, let's go!'

Best Answer: I don't know what the last girl was talking about, forget everything that she said she is wrong. I have been working at AE since fall 2003 and I think the staff hated her bc back in 2000 the AE employees would get 50% off clothing, but now we only get 40%. And that is a complete lie that you have to wear current clothing, the company likes it when you do but its not forced I wear other brand clothing while I am working all the time. Its a good company to work for they are customer friendly and always push the employees/ managers to always interact with customers and push new merchandise. Or if your not doing that then you are filling stock from the back room on the front floor.
Managers work 8 hours a day 5 days a week usually 9-5 or 2:30-10:30 depending on what time your mall opens and closes and what time of the year it is. Overall I have enjoyed working with the company they are extremely strick about the floor set though, if you ever do one make sure that it looks exactly the same right down to a wrinkle on the jeans. But it is a great and fun place to work at there is never a dull moment. Way back in the day (2000), I was a sophomore in high school and I took a job as a sales person at American Eagle. I worked there for about six months. The truth is that as far as higher end retail stores go, it's better than most.
I've heard horror stories about Abercrombie and Hollister. I've heard that Abercromie's employee handbook says 'do not talk or associate with the customer- Abercrombie sells itself' That's a very poor way to run a business and might be why Abercrombie was a fast fad. American Eagle is much more consumer friendly.
Here's the downside of AE. You have to wear their CURRENT IN SEASON clothing line.
So wanna buy off the clearance rack for work clothes since the INSIST that you wear their brand to work? Forget about it. You have to buy the just came out stuff. And you only get a 20% discount.
The pay is low so you're going to be spending the check on the clothes to wear to work. In case you haven't noticed it's not an incredible investment as AE's clothes fall apart very easily and their shoes are awful about this. We always had shoes returned because they would literally fall apart sometimes just weeks after people bought them. • Tell us some more • Upload in Progress • Upload failed. FA Recognition First American developed a robust recognition program based upon suggestions received through employee engagement surveys and focus groups. The FA Recognition program allows managers and peers to recognize an employee’s hard work and dedication whenever the occasion presents itself. Managers electronically reward employees with recognition certificates and points that convert into redeemable rewards (1 point = $1). A gallery featuring thousands of merchandise items, music downloads, movie tickets and gift cards are available for redemption. Employees can also send coworkers recognition certificates for a job well done.
Settlement Services Reimbursement First American reimburses employees for their title policy and escrow fees when buying, selling or refinancing their principal residence. This very popular benefit ranges from $200 to $7,000 depending on the value of the property, and there is no limit on how often it can be used. Employee Stock Purchase Program The Employee Stock Purchase program allows employees to purchase shares of First American stock at 15% off the closing stock price at the beginning or end of the purchase period, whichever price is lower.
Employees can then benefit from both increases in the stock price and the substantial dividends the company provides. Adoption Assistance This benefit provides employees with financial reimbursement when adopting a child under the age of 18. Eligible adoption-related expenses are reimbursed up to a maximum of $6,000 per adopted child with a lifetime maximum of $10,000 per employee or family. Pet Insurance First American recognizes that pets are family too and provides pet insurance that can save hundreds, even thousands of dollars, in pet medical bills with Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI). • • • • • © 2018 First American Financial Corporation and/or its affiliates.
