Zebra Z4m 64 Bit Driver
Two Identical workstation running Windows 8.1. Both used for Office, Browsing, and Printing Endicia Pro for postage on a Zebra LP 2844 with latest drivers (5.x) from Zebra with Dazzle program.
Upgraded one to Windows 10. Worked great, everything worked, printed labels, booted faster seemed faster overall than the Windows 8.1 machine. Then in late August 2015 an automatic update came from Microsoft. This caused the printing ONLY from Endicia Dazzle program to have issues and fail. First label would print fine.
Second label would not print Clicking on the printer I could see that somehow the first job was still in the queue ( said Printing. Even though it was done). Right click to cancel print job - it would go away but the queue still stuck.

But, the above situation repeated itself All other programs print fine to that printer, queue / spooler behaves - only Endicia Pro and Dazzle seem to have the problem. Latest versions of everything - reinstalled Zebra driver - there is a problem. Endica 2nd tier tech support tried a few things but problem is too new - they just don't have enough complaining to do anything. Next going to try uninstalling updates. That was tried early on - the troubleshooting only works when there is a known fix.
Zebra Z4m Plus Driver Windows 10 Cnet
I have isolated that it is ONLY a problem with Endicia and Dazzle software (company a division of Rubbermaid). I got to their second level support but they did not want to take ownership of the issue. Basically said wait until another Microsoft patch fixes it. Have only updated ONE workstation in the office to Windows 10. It wills stay that way and it will become the sandbox where I apply updates until this starts working.
Got it 'mostly working' now - call it 95%. Driver for the LP2844 Zebra is listed on the Zebra website as compatible with windows 7. So right clicking on the Dazzle software icon --> Properties --> Compatability Tab Inside there - check box next to 'Run As' and select Windows 7. After a reboot - Zebra LP 2844 would print labels and not leave 'data' in the print queue so the next label and the next label and so on will print. However, every now and then (every 4 or 5 days) - the printer queue will misbehave as documented earlier in the thread. I may try 'Run As' Windows XP if it gets really annoying in the future.
Zebra does not seem to be planning to update the driver software so this fix might be all we can do. We just updated to windows 10 by mistake and then the zebra printer (zp 450-200dpi) stop working and when i try to print it gave me and error it couldn't print. I broke my head for a bit but i notice that the printer port was change. So i found what port it was hooked up to and it printed like normal. Since we do lot of label printing it was driving us crazy and we had to print on our regular printer and paste the label with clear tape.
